Message Queue
Distributed messaging systems for building scalable, decoupled architectures.
Default Region: NL - Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Zone ams3
Additional regions may be available based on your deployment requirements. Choose a region closest to your users or application servers to minimize latency.
Resource Credits
All deployments consume resource credits from your account balance:
- Current Credits: Displayed in the top right (e.g., 377 / 10,000)
- Credits are consumed based on compute resources, disk size, and running time
- Monitor your credit usage to ensure uninterrupted service
Deployment Process
- Select Service Type: Choose from Database, Cache, or Message Queue
- Choose Technology: Select the specific technology (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Valkey, Kafka)
- Configure Instance:
- Provide a unique name
- Set disk size within the allowed range
- Select your deployment region
- Choose compute configuration based on workload
- Configure firewall settings
- Deploy: Click the deployment button to provision your service
Kafka
Apache Kafka is a distributed event streaming platform capable of handling trillions of events per day, designed for high-throughput, fault-tolerant messaging.
Configuration Options
