Migrate from Heroku to CreateOS

CreateOS uses its own build system that auto-detects languages and frameworks. It supports the same languages, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, without needing buildpacks.

Export your Heroku Postgres with pg_dump and import to CreateOS managed databases. For Redis, use redis-cli to export and import. Most Heroku add-ons have CreateOS equivalents or can be replaced with managed services.

In most cases, yes. CreateOS supports a similar process model. For simple apps, you don't even need a Procfile, CreateOS auto-detects your start command from package.json or your framework.
