What sails under the name Captain & Company?
For the uninitiated, NodeOps recently announced our support for Captain & Co., an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), the first game released by KAP Studios.
Captain & Company’s game is a pirate-themed MMORPG blending naval combat, treasure hunting, and Web3 economics. The game contains the elements of traditional role-playing games (RPGs)—where players assume the roles of characters and develop them over time—while enabling players to interact with up to 127 others in a shared, persistent virtual world.
Players may choose to take a high-risk/high-reward approach as ship Captains (NFT owners) or risk-free company members (crewmates earning shares of loot). The game features guild battles, cross-platform play, and an economy that enables NFT holders and $KAP tokenholders to benefit from the ecosystem’s growth. Furthermore, the game itself presents players with several different earning opportunities, such as rewards for quests, leaderboard rankings, and tournament prizes.
As a Web3-based game, Captain & Co. relies on multiple Node operators to verify the game’s operations.
Who can plunder Node Operator treasure chests?
Anyone who has minted CNC licenses can earn rewards.
You have two options:
Option 1 Run your own Node through NodeOps Console - With a couple of clicks, you may easily delegate your CNC licenses to a NodeOps Node via the NodeOps Console to earn $CNC rewards. Learn more in the docs.
- Option 2 Delegate your licences to the NodeOps’ Pool and earn a 5% $CNC commission.
Don’t have the Node Keys? Don’t walk the plank; you may still be able to purchase them directly from the KAP foundation.
